Pineapple contains bromelain, an enzyme that aids in protein digestion, diminishes muscle breakdown and soreness, while also pumping up your power output. Bananas are easily digested and they contain potassium, a mighty mineral that supports nerve and muscle function, and helps keep pesky muscle cramps at bay. Camu camu (myrciaria dubia) is a powerhouse of vitamin C which helps fight exercise-induced oxidative stress. It also contains the amino acids serine, valine, and leucine. Leucine kick starts protein synthesis, helping you build muscle. Whey protein is a fast-digesting source of amino acids, key building blocks of muscle tissue. And because it’s of the organic variety, it’s higher in antioxidants and other nutrients than conventional whey powders. Plus, it’s hormone, chemical, and antibiotic free.

Oranges are chock-full of vitamin C, which helps maintain nitric oxide (NO) levels during your workouts. NO pushes more blood to your muscles, boosting the delivery of oxygen, muscle-building hormones, and other important nutrients. The vitamin C also helps to pump up your fat-burning potential. Mango is low in calories and high in muscle-boosting nutrients, including potassium to ward off cramping. Nonfat Greek yogurt packs more than twice the protein, and only half the carbs and sodium of regular fat-free yogurt. Though reports are anecdotal, maca has been touted as a stamina- and endurance-booster as well as promotes mental clarity and mental wellbeing.

The Ezekiel cereal provides you with slower-burning complex carbs, which keep your blood-sugar levels in check and prevent you from crashing mid-workout. Apples add an extra kick of energy, while also boosting strength and fat burning due to their polyphenol content. Raw buckwheat honey is rich in amino acids, vitamins and minerals, and antioxidants. Whey protein delivers amino acids to your muscles quickly, providing you with more energy and helping to stave off muscle breakdown during an intense training session.
